Responsibility:

• Job includes supervising and motivating staff for selling tour services offered by Gray Line and affiliated companies.
  
• Duties include maintaining daily contact with customer center agents to ensure oversight, quick resolution of issues, and to answer related inquiries. Interface with customer base to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. 
  
• As part of the Visitor Center Sales Management Team, Sales Manager assumes responsibilities for center operations and helping to develop strategies for maximizing profits by controlling expenses while protecting company assets. This includes oversight of center concessions, ensuring ongoing maintenance of operating equipment (projectors, DVDs, wheelchair lifts, etc.), and meeting manpower budgets.
  
• Working with Gray Line management team to proactively promote new tour packages and programs as they pertain to the visitor centers and for the company overall.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to work on their feet for extended period of time.
  
• Must be available for all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass initial training and probation period.
• Must pass pre-placement screenings.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Foreign languages are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Possess a business degree in management or related major from a four year college or university.
• Retail sales and/or customer service is preferred.
• Business acumen for handling both customer and employee issues.

Responsibility:

Our company has an immediate opening for an organized, high energy, detail-oriented individual to work in our Brooklyn office.

Recruitment, Selection, Training and on-going certification/qualification of drivers and other credentialed employees for company; Auditing of 19A records ;Investigate complaints and tracking accidents; Certifies driver attainment of training benchmarks; Reviews DMV records and ensures that all drivers meet federal, state, and local regulations and requirements; Updates and maintains the DMV Pull Notice Program according to State reporting requirements 

Requirements:

Responsibility:

• Duties include but are not limited to narrating and conducting sightseeing tours in a safe manner for passengers aboard Double Decker buses in all types of weather and traffic.
• Generating some written reports, check tickets of all boarding passengers, follow written and oral instructions as required, handle customer related issues, and work in a union environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid and update Tour Guide license issued by the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, and renew Tour Guide license as stipulated by DCA laws.
• Must have ability to verbally guide a tour of the major routes as stipulated by the company (including Uptown, Downtown, and Night Tours in NYC).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak clear English to safely communicate with passengers and fellow co-workers. Foreign languages are a plus. 
• Candidate must be able to work on your feet at three hours or more at a time in an outdoor and indoor environment. Must be able to walk up and down inner staircase of bus to board on and off load passengers.
• Must be aware of all safety procedures for employees and passengers to become familiar with Passenger Safety Guideline for Double-Decker buses. Attend all training & safety classes.
• Candidate must continuously update information to give a proper and current tour with a solid knowledge of NYC and it's major tourist attraction.
• Must be available for all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Wear prescribed Tour Guide uniform.
• Must have ability to work on a Double Decker buses and conduct tours on top level of buses in all types of weather.  
• Guides must review and understand the rules and regulations manual for Tour Guides.  
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass pre-placement & drug screenings.
• Musty be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibility:

• Duties include but are not limited to: monitoring dispatch boards, tracking time lines and drivers.
• Coordination and multi-tasking of heavy dispatch operations.
• Handling customer related issues.
• Correlating with fellow union & non-union employees.
• Generating written reports.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a team player with excellent oral, written, listening, interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must have solid customer service skills.
• Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience of dispatching in the transportation Industry.
• Candidate must be able to work on your feet in an outdoor and indoor environment.
• Good organizational, planning, and telephone skills to work in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and other general computer skills.
• Must be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. (UP TO 50HRS. /WK)
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English. Foreign language a plus.
• CDL driver license preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check
• All candidates are subject to pass a pre-employment DOT Drug & Alcohol Ts1et.
• Should be able to lift at least 25lbs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. 

Experience Requirement:

Responsibility:

• Duties include but are not limited to operating any of our buses in a safe manner, transporting students; passengers in all types of weather and traffic. Inspect & maintain bus.
• Handling customer related issues. Correlating with fellow union & non-union employees.
• Generating written reports and logs, follow time schedules, written and oral instructions.  

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a valid CDL Drivers License Class B with passenger & Airbrake endorsements (no permits).
• Candidate must be 19-A certified.
• Candidate must have knowledge of all necessary DOT Traffic Rules & Regulations.
• Candidate must be a team player with excellent oral, written, listening, interpersonal, and communication skills. Candidate must have solid customer service skills.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience of safely driving motor coach buses in the transportation industry.
• Candidate must have a clean abstract. No more than three (3) point maximum on license.
• Candidate must be available for all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. You must attend all training and safety classes.
• Candidate must wear prescribed driver uniform.
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English to safely communicate with passengers and fellow co-workers. Speaking a foreign language is a plus.
• Candidate must pass background check.
• Candidate must pass pre-placement DOT physical /drug  & alcohol test.
• Candidate subject to pass a map reading, time telling, and basic math test.
• Candidates must pass all road test and driver-training program.
• Candidate should be able to lift at least 25lbs.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
