Freedom Trail Boston Tour from New York City
Take a Walk Along Freedom Trail and End With a Tea Party

When you live in or near New York City, you get to enjoy the perks of living next to everything! You can find a plethora of amazing restaurants and nightclubs, but how about a day trip to a neighboring town? Boston is just across the way so why not take advantage of your location and try our Freedom Trail Boston Tour from New York City. You’ll leave early in the morning and be back in time for your brunch date tomorrow.

Teas, Walks and Good Food

To start, we will pick you up in New York and then travel through Connecticut and into Massachusetts. Once we arrive at the state’s capitol, you get off the bus for a lovely walk through Freedom Trail. In total, the path goes on for 2.5 miles and has many historically significant sites along the way. You can enjoy learning about the American Revolution as you literally follow in the footsteps of those who were there.

From here, we will take you to Boston Harbor, which is the famous site of the Boston Tea Party. You won’t find tea bags floating there these days, but it is home to the navy ship Constitution. The ship is a three-masted heavy frigate, and the hull is made of wood. You will also visit the sight where the well-known Battle of Bunker Hill was fought. While on our Escorted Tours, you get the chance to explore Boston’s downtown financial district.

The line between past and present blurs in the Quincy Market, which will be where the tour stops for lunch. The complex is historic and was originally constructed in the early 1800s. Feel free to look around and explore around the Boston Commons. There’s no rush as you soak up how the historical meets the modern in this still thriving hub.

After you’ve had an adventure and a good meal at a restaurant of your choice, the Bus trip from New York City to Boston will travel across the Charles River so you can enjoy the beautiful campuses of Harvard and MIT. Boston has been the integral to the revolutionary history of the United States and much of that is rooted in the city’s long tradition of superior education. In one small area, two of the world’s best colleges educate bright young minds and you will get a lovely taste of these environments.
