As you climb to the second floor, check out one of the Museum’s most popular artifacts, the dollhouse of Carrie Walter Stettheimer, who lived from 1869 to 1944. The 12-room house brings together the fashion and style of New York's Gilded Age in miniature form. Its particularly notable for its décor of original, miniaturized works crafted especially for Stettheimer by renowned avant-garde artists of the 1920s, including a 3-inch version of Nude Descending a Staircase by Marcel Duchamp.

Do I need to specify a date of travel?
No. When you start your order, you will have to choose the day you believe you are going to beginning your sightseeing adventure, but this is not a formal reservation. You are free to begin using your tickets anytime within one year of the date of purchase. After one year, your tickets will expire. Please note, some of our partner attractions do require reservations – please refer to the tour details for more information.

Do I have to do the Helicopter Tour in the same 3 Day window I’m using the Sightseeing Pass?
No! You can take up to 14 days between the Helicopter Tour and the 3 Day Sightseeing Pass.

How do I get my Pass?
Instantly! After completing your purchase you will be automatically directed to a page with your both live pass and helicopter ticket. We will also send you an email confirmation with a link to your the ticket and pass – print it out or take a screen shot of the QR code and use your mobile phone as your ticket.

How do I use my Pass at attractions?
Each attraction has instructions on where and when you can redeem them. For the latest redemption information, click here.

When is my pass activated?
Your pass is activated the moment it is scanned for admission at your first attraction, bus tour or restaurant.

How long do I have to use my pass? Your pass is activated the moment it is scanned for admission at your first attraction, bus tour or restaurant.

How long do I have to use my pass? This Sightseeing Pass is passes is valid for 3 consecutive days. For example, if you begin using your pass on a Wednesday, it will be valid for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week.

When does my pass expire?
Passes that have not been activated expire one year from the purchase date. Once activated, the pass is valid for the number of consecutive calendar days purchased an will expire on midnight of the final day of use.

Are there limits on how much I an use this pass?
You may scan your pass for admission at included attractions once every hour. Please note however, that in regard to bus tours, once your pass has been scanned and you have received a bus ticket, there are no restrictions to where or how often you may Hop-on and Hop-off the Gray Line CitySightseeing bus tours during their route times.

Do I need to choose my attractions right now?
No, simply choose as you go! The Sightseeing Pass allows you to experience New York City, the way you want to.

How do the dining options work?
Lunch is on us! Eat lunch at any restaurant listed until 5:00 pm. The dining options vary by restaurants. Each restaurant either offers a prix-fixe menu option or a fixed dollar amount off your lunch or dinner. When you get to the restaurant, just show your pass and they’ll let you know how it works!

Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
You may visit each included attraction just once. With so many great attractions to choose from, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy!

How long is the included Bus Tour valid? The included All Around Town bus ticket is valid for the entire 72 consecutive hours your Sightseeing Pass is valid. This consecutive time-frame includes all bus loops, the Night Tour, CitySightseeing Hop-on, Hop-off Ferry and the bonus museum admission choice included as part of the All Around Town Tour.

Can I board the Gray Line City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus loops anywhere with my card?

Where do I start the bus tour?
You may use your live ticket to board the bus at any designated stop along the route. To see the full list of stops, view our map.

What does unlimited hop-on, hop-off access mean? Can I get off anywhere?
With unlimited hop-on, hop-off access you can hop off the bus at any of the designated tour stops along the route, spend time walking around or exploring attractions, and get back on the bus at the same stop or any of the other designated stops listed on our map. You can do this an unlimited number of times within the specified hours for each tour. For a full list of tour stops, view our map.
You can not hop off at locations other than our designated hop-on, hop-off tour stops.

HELICOPTER QUESTIONS
How do I use my ticket for the Helicopter Tour?
Reservations are required for the helicopter tour. To reserve, call 212-355-0801 or email [email protected] at least 24-48 hours before your desired flight time. A printed copy of your ticket will be required, as as will a Government issued photo ID. A link to your ticket can be found in your order confirmation email.

Will my helicopter tour be cancelled due to inclement weather?
For your safety, tours may be cancelled due to bad weather. If you have any weather concerns, please contact Helicopter Flight Services, Inc. at (212) 355-0801 If your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, Helicopter Flight Services, Inc will work with you to schedule a new date and time.

What can I bring on the helicopter?
You may bring your camera or recording device on board to capture the experience! All other personal belongings (including purses, scarves, backpacks, hats and all loose items) must be put in one of the secure locker provided prior to boarding.
