This touching 9/11 Memorial tour takes you behind the headlines of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The tour begins in St. Peter's Chapel, where New Yorkers gathered for news of their missing loved ones in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. Here, you'll see messages and gifts that arrived from all over the world and hear the story of this historic spot from your local guide. At the 9/11 Memorial, you'll stop at the Fireman's Memorial to learn of the FDNY's heroism during the attacks, and see the Survivor Tree, to hear the story of how a small pear tree near the Twin Towers has become a symbol for rebirth around the city. The Reflecting Pools, which were built in the footprints of the fallen towers are lined with plaques listing the names of each of the 2,606 people killed in New York on September 11th.

The 9/11 Memorial Tour saves the best for last with a visit to the stunning 9/11 Memorial Museum. We have pre-reserved your tickets so you can stroll right in! Before you enter, your guide will give you a rundown on how the museum is laid out and what to keep an eye out for, including artifacts from the attack, personal items of those who were lost, and stories from victims and survivors. This is an emotional journey in which you take your time and experience this singular museum by yourself.

Your exploration of One World Observatory begins at the video wall in the Welcome Center, which welcomes you in ten languages and celebrates the homelands of all visitors. Hear the true stories of the people who built it in an inspiring walk-through video montage. You’ll be whisked to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere in less than 60 seconds in the Sky Pod elevator while watching a time-lapse evolution of NYC over the past 500 years. At the 100th floor, step into the observatory for panoramic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and the surrounding waters. Stand on the glass Sky Portal and look down to the city streets for a totally unique perspective!
